"The Matrix"
The
word matrix comes from the same root as the words
Mother, matter, meter, measure, menses and moon.
She is the mystery of the darkness, the point of transformation,
Whereby yin meets yang, volatile meets inert,
And intent becomes form . . . Creation.This piece is a
special project sculptured during a stint as Artist in Residence at Eastern
Oregon
University
and was accompanied by lectures on Sacred Geometry. (geo -earth, metry - mother)
